Over the Easter holidays I happened to bump into Sean while he was visiting his relatives in Ireland, so I thought I would conduct an interview with one of the hottest new movers into the glorious country of Zimbabwe.
1. Please introduce yourself. Hi my name is Sean, I like long walks on the beach and sex swings . . wait wrong interview oh
2. What made you choose a move to Zimbabwe and how are you finding the experience so far? There was a lot of factors in moving the great community here in Zim, I wanted to help a smaller nation, and to be a smaller fish in an even smaller pond
. They been ok I’m glad I moved but I think my team is home sick as they’ve been shocking so far.
3. What are your clubs ambitions for this season? Pure and simple promotion and make as much money as possible to help pay for lvl5s
4. If you could start your club over again what things would you do differently, or would you play it the same? There’s nothing id do differently tbh, I’ve done as much as I could with my finances and in 5 seasons into the game to be getting lvl5s is a big achievement
5. Please tell us who your favourite player from your team is and why? Currently it’s my 114kg crash ball centre but I’m also a big of my two new trainees who are going to be stars
6. Who are your team’s biggest rivals? C clampett we started the same joined the offsite everything but I did it better
7. Why did you name your team Newcastle West? My home town and my local rugby
8. What would you consider to be the best moment or achievement for your team so far? Getting into the top 4 in the third division last season
[in Ireland] was a fair achievement and had a great win which set it all off.
9. Do you support a particular team in RL or indeed play for one? I support Munster of course and my own club Newcastle west RFC got promoted to Munster junior 1 for the first time in our history.
10. What are your favourite Band/ Song of all time and/or currently? I’m a fan of most music can’t decide
11. And the one question anyone actually cares for; If you were an animal what one would you be and why? A stallion baby, a big white one because they’re pretty
12. Is there anything else you would like to add? I am an animal, tank and a beast all rolled into one
Once again thank you Sean for the quick reply to this email as it makes the job of being a journalist much easier, and this has helped the whole community in Zim get to know you a little better.
