| Anyone thinks we should try and all chip in a little amount to fund a ticket to ZIM competition.
Wonder if Jeremy will allow it? The money goes to him afterall.
If you're for it post here and I'll e-mail him if we get enough.
I'll chuck in a fiver | |

| Hi there Mattt,
While I can see why it would be a cool feature to have, it just wouldn't get enough usage to make it worth the effort. Especially when you can do the same thing outside of the game. I.e. someone sets up a central PayPal account, and everyone else makes payments to that account, then you use that account to pay us...
Hope that helps.
Jeremy
Thoughts? Isit easy to set one of those up for us all?

| I think what he means is that people pay one *person* and that person purchases the ticket on behalf of someone. The problem with this is the same as with my cup "Donate $1 and stand a chance to win the pot" cup idea - where you need to put faith in the organiser and holder of the money. | |

| Well I have paypal, and I trust myself.
I am unsure how it works though? I have already splashed on one move, so would much rather just "chip in" or I will get murdered by my missus.

| Ok, simple solution.
Run a competition for a free move ticket (to Zim only), I will fund the ticket, but may be too busy to actually run the competition.
So, any ideas as to what format this could take? A lottery, with players putting names in a clubroom 'hat', similar to the 'manage the NT for a day comp'?
What do you all think? | |

| That's great Mark. It could be fill in a small introduction style template in our clubrooms to enter, even if it is just to say why they want to join so badly. We should use it to our advantange, even if it is as simple as gettign extra people reading or visiting the clubroom or our offsite. Then again that could prove to be difficult. With 16 weeks till the new season, I am happy to chip in and make it two? Will 2 quid away a week | |

| Good idea. We can start running this a little later in the season I think as it is very early to think about moving at the moment. | |

| On a side note I just saw a thread in global and it got me thinking.
What if we offer foreingers some prize if they train someone we want?
Train 2 ZIM players 10 sessions and get a prize of your choice? Increase 20K a season get a free ticket to ZIM or season premium 15-20K get a move or 3 premium 10-15K a season get a 1 month premium or name change
Something like that | |

| Love the idea, but I have a horrible feeling that it could get very expensive Too many give aways will be hard to fund, but I get where you are coming from. We do need to think of some other ways to involve people in training Zim players as well as committing to move here. | |

| Aye. It's tough going, maybe a competition to just get people over will have to do. We usually seem to do well in getting people over who can really benefit both NT's anyway, so it isn't a biggy.
