| I am sure that most of you have enjoyed the competition this season, but it has thrown up a few problems. Mainly that the lower ranked teams have been steamrollered by their higher ranked opponents. So I have been thinking about changing the format for next season. My idea is as follows: Structure - 3 Tiers each made up of 8 Teams - 24 teams in total
- Teams will be divided into tiers according to Nation Rankings
- Each tier will be split into 2 leagues
- Each team playes each other home and away
- Top 2 teams from each league progress to the semi-finals
- Rankings will again be used for HGA
- Tournament will run from Round 2 to Round 9
- Fixtures will be on the Thursday Friendly Slot
Please post your thoughts and/or ideas in this thread as I want to get this agreed as soon as possible.

| Promotion and relegation may be tough as I cannot guarentee that the same teams will sign up year on year. However as the tiers are based on rankings, it is possible to get into a different tier by doing well in the other parts of BR i.e. league, cup and mon friendlies etc.
This format though should eliminate some of the resounding thrashings that have been handed out this season, while still seeing the top teams get recognition. | |

| Yep. And we all have time to hget our rankings good now to make sure we get into the best possible tier. If I kept going the way I was I'd be in the bottom tier!! I love the format as I like to think it will be a real fair reflection on ZIM teams, more so than the leagues and people will really strive to make that top tier and be part of the ZIM elite. | |
