Who do you fancy asking for a game?

In terms of managers we are still one of the smaller countries.

well maybe team up with another african nation (maybe nambia?) and give the scots a go.

Croatia, Czech Republic & Poland get my vote. Oh and perhaps Chile/Uruguay

EDIT: If I had to pick one it would have to be Poland, they have 77 managers which is very similar to us.

We could maybe try and take on a newer nation on a Thursday and team up with Namibia to take on a Wales/Scotland of the BR world. Wales have been talkking about us as opponents, but we are not ready to go solo yet.

Thoughts? This gives us a good chance to win two, but making them very challenging at the same time.

I will make a poll with all mentioned for a Thursday one if you like?

Yeh, I liked the format we did it this year!

Although how about we team up with the same nation against the bigger nation that we play on the other day, then we can fight for bragging rights if we win both

What about Japan? They are a small manager base, but established and have some biggg clubs?

Some food for thought:

Namibia contributed 23 teams to the S.A. CC in S.12, so together we would manage about 50 teams due to our high rate of participation for a "small" nation.

Canada played against S.A. in another S.12 CC and manager to provide about 45 entrants, so they are a possibility if we combine with someone (they were not excessively strong either).

Be careful of the smaller nations like Uruguay for example, reason being that they are not as active a community like we are and you tend to get very little participation for CC's. I learned this the hard way with nations like Kenya and Ivory Coast only providing +- 10 entrants after nearly 10 weeks of taking entries.

One on one I think Portugal or Poland would be interesting opponents with my vote being Portugal.

Pacific Islands is another option: They managed 21 entrants for the S.A. CC.

If you look for a combined tourny: Us and Namibia would combine awesomely to take on a combination of South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. Southern Africa vs Asia!

Brilliant idea about combining with Namibia. I think we should contact them as soon as possible to see if they would be up for this. At the moment Hong Kong are committed to a CC against Kenya on Thursday of week 16. If we were to do a combined CC vs Asia, we would need to do this on the monday.

That would leave us the Thursday free for a CC against say Portugal, Belgium or Germany. I posted earlier that my preference would be Portugal, as I think this would be a great challenge.

We need to move fairly quickly guys, so lets decide.
